Wise Auto Shutdown is a very popular automation tool. As its name suggests, it was designed to let you shutdown your system automatically, but there are other things that it can do.
All the of the above-mentioned tasks can be carried out in three different ways. The default is to execute them at a specific time, like 12:00 p.m., daily. You can also specify a date along with a time, which gives you more freedom. The last way is basically a count-down timer. You tell it how many hours and minutes you want it to count down before a task is executed.
At the top of the screen, you will see when the next task will be carried out. Optionally, you can have Wise Auto Shutdown remind you it is five minutes before the task is executed, so that you can save your work.
When you are done setting the application, you can hit on "Start", which will send it to the background. You can find it in the taskbar if you need to make any changes.
In my testing, I tried shutting down and logging off, using the three available methods, and the application performed wonderfully.
